Norway is one of the most stunningly beautiful countries on Earth, and yet it's probably one of the least touristed places in Europe because (I'm guessing) it's a little bit out of the way and most people don't know what they're missing. These photos are from a trip I took in 2007 where I sailed 1,200 miles from Southern Sweden all the way up the fjord-riddled western side of Norway to its northernmost city in a 50' sailboat. This vantage point provided access to parts of Norway that most people don't get to see (access to remote islands and glaciers and extensive views from sea). Achingly beautiful.
